The Virtual Fab project was a digital twin of a fabrication plant used to help design and plan for various manufacturing scenarios in a VR setting. A handheld scanning gun-type device could be used as a heads-up display and provide data relevant to what the user was interacting with. There was also a robot assistant that would give users additional info based on what they were doing. AI was used to conceptualize the "AL-VN" (Automated Lab Verification Navigator) logo. I used Blender and Substance to create the assets*.
*I created the scene in Unreal and created all of the assets, including the robot, except for around 30% of the machines and the worker characters. Individual machines that I created can be seen in the props section below.
